The HOPE chair is a cross-disciplinary research on energy poverty to deepen understanding of previously underexplored issues like the links between housing and mobility and housing and health in the context of energy poverty.

The project created opportunities to retrofit full neighbourhoods that were in a vulnerable situation and that were located on the outskirts of big cities, built between the post-war period in Spain and 1979.

The project's general goal was to develop a predictive indicator and application models which, using the dwelling and family's basic information, were capable of analyzing existing buildings, helping allocate or choose new social housing (SH) and, assess standards to reduce energy poverty risks in Central and Central-Southern Chile.

EPRi was founded in 2017 as a step towards establishing a Scottish cross-sector centre for excellence in energy / fuel poverty research.

The project is developing an energy poverty intelligence system which is a data analytics system that collects information on energy consumption, income and other factors determining energy poverty.

The initiative is focused in the economical empowerment of families, income management for households, investments, basic supplies, debt, overindebtness and housing. The use of clean energy and responsible consumption are part of the main objetives of the programme.

COOLtoRISE aims to reduce summer energy poverty incidence among European households, improving their indoor thermal habitability conditions and reducing their energy needs during the hot season, which will in turn decrease their exposure to heat and heat-related health risks.

The overall goal of the CEES project is to identify, assess and improve replicable energy communities' energy solidarity practices and, later on, foster their uptake in other European communities by creating a toolkit and offering policy support.

A biannual congress that began in 2016 in Sabadell with the aim of offering solutions to specific problems in energy poverty.

EnergyMeasures will identify and recruit energy poor households, who will be provided with low-cost energy measures and facilitated to change their energy-related behaviours and practices through an approach that takes account of the physical nature of their housing units and the lived experience of the household members. Moreover it will address structural issues surrounding energy poverty through the development of policy and practice measures.
