Measure

Flanders set up a fund for renovation loans with delayed payments, targeting energy-poor households who bought a house in poor condition.

The loan (max. 25.000 euro) has to be repaid after 20 years or after the house is inherited or sold. Conditions for the loan include improvement of energy performance and the overall building condition according to the Flemish Building Code.

Main beneficiaries: owners/landlords and in general the vulnerable population.
