The Renopack/Ecopack (https://www.wallonie.be/fr/actualites/prets-taux-zero-la-wallonie-maintient-son-soutien-au-dispositif-renopackecopack), two different measures merged in 2019, give access to 0% interest loans to low-income households owners in Wallonia. Some other criteria may apply like the number of children. These loans shall be used to renovate old, deficient houses to obtain a better energy efficiency and thus reduce energy bills while increasing indoor comfort. It targets the core of energy poverty by allowing people without financial resources to access comfortable housing.
