Chance for Buildings is an alliance by leading trade associations that supports energy efficient and environmentally sustainable construction and renovation of buildings. It brings together various Czech actors and represents over 300 companies across the entire value chain of building construction and renovation. Chance for Buildings aspires to reap the crucial societal benefits of energy efficient and quality buildings

The City of Liège provides a variety of public services regarding energy retrofits, energy consumption and social issues. The “Maison de l’Habitat” has been created by the City of Liège to gather all those public services from different departments in one location. The goal of this activity is to boost the number of retrofits especially in deprived areas, as many citizens are not aware of their eligibility for and availability of these services.

The Finnish Energy Observatory consisted of a network of experts aiming to address Finland’s most pressing energy challenges related to climate change. FEnO aimed to support evidence-based decision-making for Finland, and the Nordic region more widely, to achieve a clean energy transition without leaving anyone behind, i.e. to ensure the mitigation of social and energy inequalities.

The WELLBASED project objectives are to design, implement and evaluate a comprehensive urban programme to significantly reduce energy poverty and its effects on the citizens health and wellbeing, built on evidence-based approaches in six pilot cities that represent not only different urban realities but also a diverse range of welfare and healthcare models.

The series of projects address energy-poor citizens in Zagreb, Croatia. The project was conducted in 4 iterations over 5 years. The latest iteration, "Together for more comfortable housing 4" was focused on the specific energy needs and housing conditions of people with disabilities.

The project focused on trainings for professionals who work daily with the population in a situation of energy vulnerability.

TIGER is experimenting with a new model to gather financing means for refurbishment in social housing through an holistic apporach, having a direct impact on the wellness of the inhabitants and fostering capacity building on the theme of energy poverty.

Solutions to Tackle Energy Poverty developed a simple, innovative and replicable model of measures to address energy poverty. STEP’s overall objective was to alleviate energy poverty by encouraging behavioural change and low-cost energy efficiency solutions among consumers in or at risk of energy poverty through trusted, tailored advice.

The project aimed jointly tackling the topic of housing deprivation and energy efficiency in the scope of social housing sector towards a lower carbon economy. The overall objective of the project was to improve regional policy instruments targeting the link between social housing sector and fuel poverty with green building interventions considering policy, institutional, financial and technical levels.

The aim of REACH project is to contribute to energy poverty reduction at practical and structural level. The project empowers energy poor households to take actions to save energy and change their habits, and to establish energy poverty as an issue that demands structural solutions at local, national and EU level.
