LIFE ReHABITA project aims to alleviate the energy poverty by fostering deep energy renovations of the energy inefficient homes of vulnerable families. The project will set up ReHABITA Offices (one-stop shops) to deliver an integrated home renovation services in some of the most deprived neighbourhoods in the participating municipalities.
RENOVERTY - Home Renovation Roadmaps to Address Energy Poverty in Vulnerable Rural DistrictsNational project
RENOVERTY fosters energy efficiency building upgrades in the energy poor households of Central and Eastern Europe / South-eastern Europe and Southern European countries by establishing the methodological and practical framework to build renovation roadmaps for vulnerable rural districts in a financially viable and socially just manner. Specifically, the project aims to deliver tools and resources to support local and regional actors to build and execute operational single or multi-household roadmaps for rural areas. A scalable model will also be created to ensure the wide geographical replicability and implementation of the roadmaps by different actors at the EU level.
CEESEN-BENDER - Building intErventions in vulNerable Districts against Energy poveRtyNational project
The main objective of CEESEN-BENDER is to empower and support vulnerable homeowners and renters living in Soviet-era multi-apartment buildings. We will help them through the renovation process by identifying the main obstacles, and creating trustworthy support services that include homeowners, their associations, and building managers. The project will create a support system for homeowners, municipalities, and other large owners of multi-apartment buildings (MABs) in the targeted regions to speed up the renovation process. The team will develop specific tools to help municipalities and large housing stock owners effectively identify energy poor households and implement schemes to reduce energy poverty.
REVERTER - Deep REnovation roadmaps to decrease households VulnERability To Energy poveRtyNational project
REVERTER aims to decrease energy poverty in Europe by addressing the poor energy efficiency of dwellings of vulnerable households. 9 different roadmaps will be developed and tested by setting up a network of pilots and the roadmaps will target the worst performing homes first (“worst first” principle).
POWERTY - Renewable energy for vulnerable groupsNational project
The POWERTY project works to increase access to renewable energy for vulnerable groups to tackle energy poverty. It does this primarily by improving regional policy instruments targeting 4 topics: new innovative technologies, new formulas for financing, improving the regulatory framework and empowering vulnerable groups. Over the project's 4 year duration, the partners will develop a complete learning process to facilitate an effective knowledge flow between these regions.
Comunità Energetica di Roveri e Plastro - Green Energy Community (GECO)National project
The Green Energy Community (GECO) is a demonstration project in the Pilastro – Roveri district of Bologna. It comprises the creation of an energy community, an entity introduced by the EU Clean Energy Package (CEP). The GECO project intends to tackle social, technical and economic aspects related to the creation of the green energy community in order to increase sustainability, reduce energy poverty and generate a low carbon economic cycle. The project is carried out by AESS, ENEA, UNIBO, CAAB/FICO and Agenzia Pilastro, with the Emilia Romagna Region, GSE, RSE, City of Bologna, local associations, businesses and citizens and with the financial support of EIT Climate-KIC.

New Evaluation Method for Homes of Social, Sustainable and Energy Efficient Interest in the Sudoe Territory – Architecture for Climate – (ARCAS)European project
The tool will be tested for assessment of energy poverty, air quality and energy efficiency in social housing located in Spain (Asturias, Cantabria and the Basque Country), France (La Rochelle) and Portugal (Braga). A training programme to reach final users and actions plans for the future sustainability of the tool will be ellaborated.
