Generació Dones

Generació Dones wants to design a pilot proposal that promotes and accelerates the training, orientation, and insertion of women in situations of social fragility in the rehabilitation and energy efficiency sector, while promoting female employment in a highly masculinized sector.

The pilot proposal must help to reduce the horizontal segregation of the sector and facilitate the investment in rehabilitation and energy efficiency coming from the European Next Generation funds to have an impact especially on the groups that require it most, and, specifically, on women. The investment in rehabilitation must not leave anyone behind, no home and no person who can access a job in the sector, however ensuring these criteria of justice involves planning specific programs that break down market barriers, discrimination, and segregation in the sector of construction.

The pilot will be based on three group sessions of co-creation between the women participants, the companies in the sector, professionals in the insertion and training as well as the administrations. By extracting the needs of the market, the needs of women and the job opportunities, a training proposal will be created as a resource for the job insertion of the participating women.

Summing up, the main objectives of the project are:

• Carry out 3 co-creation sessions
• Develop a training proposal as an insertion tool

Some concrete Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include the participation of 15 women.

The project in April 2021 and will be completed at the end of 2022. It benefits women and gender-oriented measures. The project involved several partners:
