Study: Re-habilitación exprés para hogares vulnerables. Soluciones de bajo coste

The energy consumption of homes is directly related to weather conditions. An adequate design of buildings, adapted to the climate in which they are located, reduces the consumption of energy necessary to maintain well-being. To take advantage of the possibilities of use of passive design strategies in homes it is necessary to know the characteristics of the climate in relation to the building.

The study provides low-cost solutions to improve the conditions of thermal well-being and in the evaluation of energy consumption in air conditioning in homes inhabited by families in situations of poverty or energy vulnerability, as well as providing low-cost, quick and easy application solutions. For this study, climatic, demographic, economic and social data are collected, together with characteristics of the dwellings, which reflect the differences in the four cities in terms of to their circumstances of composition and ownership of the homes, age and state of the building, existing facilities, etc., which implies various actions and results.
