The ELIH MED project aimed to promote the energy efficiency in low income housing in the Mediterranean. In Cyprus interventions to increase energy efficiency were made in 25 households with low energy income and 25 smart meters installed.

The initiative is focused in the economical empowerment of families, income management for households, investments, basic supplies, debt, overindebtness and housing. The use of clean energy and responsible consumption are part of the main objetives of the programme.

The project provides training mainly to vulnerable families in energy efficiency, energy saving and bill management. Training is offered to local administration or third sector entities, which are the ones that maintain connection with families.

EDS - Economía Doméstica Sostenible is a course on sustainable home economics aimed at vulnerable families affected by energy poverty, offering training on saving and efficiency and sustainable habits in energy, mobility, food, health, economy.

COOLtoRISE aims to reduce summer energy poverty incidence among European households, improving their indoor thermal habitability conditions and reducing their energy needs during the hot season, which will in turn decrease their exposure to heat and heat-related health risks.

The energy poverty management process is a slow, inefficient and time consuming for social services. The project has built a blockchain system to simplify the process with a distributed network platform that integrates all the parties involved in the process (social services, regional communities and electricity companies). This system allows to share all the information in real time with security, traceability, immutability, reliability and in accordance with the GDPR and the right to be forgotten.

The residential complex of San Giusto in Prato envisaged the construction of 29 public housing units, a civic center of about 250 square meters and public urbanization works, for the construction of a new green space and a new square.

ComAct aims to make high-impact and high-cost energy-efficient improvements in multi-family apartment buildings in the CEE and CIS regions affordable and manageable for energy-poor communities as well as to create the necessary assistance conditions for lifting them out of energy poverty.

The overall goal of the CEES project is to identify, assess and improve replicable energy communities' energy solidarity practices and, later on, foster their uptake in other European communities by creating a toolkit and offering policy support.
