The general objective is the creation of an innovative employment plan and the promotion of energy education and a new energy culture, especially aimed at people in a situation of vulnerability to unemployment (women outside the circuits of formally paid work) in Nou Barris, a district of Barcelona especially affected by energy poverty.

The project focuses on the private rental market and wants to give the landlord extra support in making sustainable choices. With a budget between 100.000 and 1M€, it involved the renovation of 30 terraced houses in Kortrijk, Harelbeke and Menen.

The project aimed to create local jobs via retrofitting interventions and reduce CO2 emissions, producing a carbon calculator and to reduce fuel poverty and the improvement of the housing stock in very deprived areas of the country.

The Energy Inclusion Program helps low income households to acces clean and renewable energy a swell as improve energy eficiency through education.

The project supports vulnerable people by reducing their exposure to energy poverty, with the improvement of living conditions (thermal comfort and health). The project addresses identified barriers by developing a set of innovative tools related to technical, financial and legal aspects.

PadovaFIT Expanded aims at creating and piloting a one-stop-shop dedicated to home renovation services. The concept is based on existing experiences of similar one-stop-shops motivating and supporting homeowners as well as stimulating the supply sides, both technically and financially, to invest in energy efficiency.
